Applying a cancellation policy

Amodo allows you to apply a cancellation policy to any event (live stream or in-person) that you create.

If you wish to apply a cancellation policy, go to the 'Cancellation policy' section of your settings page and switch on the cancellation policy.

A policy can be applied for both credit card payments and for pre-purchased multi packs. For credit card payments, choose how long before the start time that attendees can cancel without incurring a fee, and then set how much of the purchase price is charged if they cancel within this window. For credits (multi packs), partial credits cannot be refunded and so the cancellation window applies to the full refund of a credit only.

If you choose to apply a cancellation policy, a link to the policy will display in the footer of your custom page and any purchases will be subject to your cancellation policy.

In the event of a member cancelling, it is your policy at the time of cancellation that applies.
