Troubleshooting: live streams

If you are using an external platform to host your live stream, please refer to the troubleshooting guides of those platforms for streaming issues.

If you are using the Amodo live stream, here are some steps to get you back up and running:

  • When you are hosting a stream (instructors) or booked in to a stream (members), you will only first see the video feed on the event page and be able to join the live stream 15 min before the scheduled start time. Before this time (or after the finish time), you will only see the event image.
  • Use Google Chrome as your browser and ensure you have the latest version installed
  • Refresh your browser and/or restart your device
  • Check your internet speed using Speedtest. We recommend an upload speed of at least 1.5 Megabits per second and preferably 3 Megabits per second or higher to ensure a quality stream.
  • Ensure system permissions are granted for Chrome to access your microphone and camera
  • Ensure Chrome permissions are granted for Amodo to access your microphone and camera

If you are still having issues, you may have to try a different desktop, laptop, tablet or phone to see if this resolves your issue.
